Kinds of collection of galaxies :

• binary galaxy (4 facts) (double galaxy) - Two galaxies orbiting each other owing to their mutual gravitational attraction.
• galaxy cluster (15 kinds, 88 facts) - A conglomeration of hundreds or thousands of galaxies. The nearest large galaxy cluster is the Virgo cluster., An aggregate of galaxies. Bautz and Morgan divide them into three morphological types: type I contains a supergiant cD galaxy; Coma is type II, type III contains no members significantly brighter than the general bright population. Virgo is type III. 21 known X-ray sources are associated with clusters of galaxies.
• Great Wall (2 facts) - A sheet of galaxies which stretches more than 500 million light-years across the sky.
• hypergalaxy (2 kinds, 24 facts) - A system consisting of a dominant spiral galaxy surrounded by a cloud of dwarf satellite galaxies, often ellipticals.
• supercluster (2 kinds, 14 facts) - A cluster of clusters of galaxies. Superclusters are typically about one hundred million (10⁸) light-years in diameter and contain tens of thousands of galaxies.
