Kinds of local coordinate :

• east point (4 facts) - The point on the celestial horizon 90° clockwise from the north point. At the equinoxes the Sun rises in the east point.
• nadir (7 facts) (downward) - The point on the celestial sphere diametrically opposite to the zenith in the direction of gravity.
• north point (4 facts) - The point at which the meridian intersects the horizon below the north celestial pole.
• zenith (7 facts) - The point in the sky directly overhead., The point on the celestial sphere directly above the observer's head - i.e., opposite to the direction of gravity (nadir).
