The Interworking chapters describe a specification for communication between two similar but very distinct object management
systems: Microsoft’s COM (including OLE) and the OMG’s CORBA. An optimal specification would allow objects from either system
to make their key functionality visible to clients using the other system as transparently as possible. The architecture for
Interworking is designed to meet this goal.
