The 2nd Symposium of Language Processing

Aims
----
There are many local languages that have individual and different
characteristics so that they must be developed in the sense of
Natural Language Processing because they are important problems for
technology development. The objective of the Second Symposium of
Language Processing is to encourage interaction and cooperation among
researchers and practitioners in the field of Natural Language Processing,
especially for local language in Asia.

This 3-day symposium will be organised in Bangkok, Thailand during
May 10-12, 1995. The format of the symposium will be a session where
participants will present their work. It is the aim of the symposium to
provide a forum for formal presentation and informal discussions

Submissions are invited in the areas including (but not limited to ):
	- Natural Language Processing
	- Machine Translation
	- Discourse Processing
	- Local Language Processing and Applications
	  (including I/O Processing)
	- Speech Processing

Due Dates
---------
	Papers Due: 			January 31, 1995
	Notification of acceptance: 	February 28, 1995

Format
------
Authors are invited to submit one copies of their paper. Paper must be
written in English and printed on A4 papers with 1-inch margins at all sides.
The character size must be not less than 12 CPIs. The length of the paper
should not exceed 10 pages including diagrams and tables. Paper can be
