Potential
courses based
on this book
At the Universities and Colleges, the book could be used for the
following purposes:
- Textbook for a stand-alone protocol oriented course
in
which communication and protocol aspects will be covered in details and
the structure and functionality of the tags will be understood at the
high-level. Chapters 2, basics of 1, 3, 4 and 5, 6-12, 16 and 17 should
be covered.
- Main book for the technology-oriented course in
which
details of
functionalities of RFID readers and tags will be covered and networks
and other aspects will be mentioned. Chapters 1-6, basics of 7 and 8,
14-19 should be covered. This book will be supplemented with the
research articles or other books that cover RF and antenna issues.
- Part of recommended readings in more general RFID
courses.
